CTJEBU started a first training sessions of the tailor-made training project

On this Monday November 13th, 2023, the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) from Netherland in collaboration with the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs in Burundi (CTJEBU) started a first training session involved in the list of training sessions which will be carried out as parts of the tailor-made training project which aims to strengthen the appeal of a bright future in agriculture to youth through entrepreneurship and innovation in Burundi.
The first training session title is Innovative Idea Development and Innovation through Design thinking in agriculture which aims to enable participants to apply design thinking for creating innovative and sustainable solutions in agriculture, and develop a practical project by the end of the training. The training is being carried out by an experienced trainer from The Maastricht School of Management, Alain NKURIKIYE, who started by introducing the Innovation and Entrepreneurship concepts based on the entrepreneurship approach of zero to one developed in the book written by the American entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel.
Note that the trainees who are the direct beneficiaries of this project are key leaders from different institutions working to promote youth entrepreneurship such as the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs in Burundi (CTJEBU), The Economic Empowerment and Employment Program for Youth (PAEEJ), The Youth Investment Bank (BIJE) and BIESO. Today’s session was characterised by a friendly atmosphere where trainees actively engaged in a fruitful and relevant discussions and they are looking forward to learning more for the rest of the 1st training session and they hope their expectations will be met.
